ThriftBooks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain our primary customer-facing ecommerce applications. In this role, you will work closely with a collaborative and highly motivated engineering team to deliver scalable, high-quality software that directly supports business growth.
You will contribute to technical decisions, mentor other engineers, and help shape the evolution of our platform.
What you'll do
- Build features for thriftbooks.com — typically a mix of C#, React, and SQL Server
- Maintain performance, scalability, and reliability across thriftbooks.com features and infrastructure
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical standards and best practices
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor other engineers
- Troubleshoot, debug, participate in on-call rotations, and resolve production issues as needed
Location
- This is a hybrid position with in-person days in Tukwila, WA, or remote in Phoenix, AZ
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $120,000 – $145,000/yr (the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position; individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training)
