Role overview

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Shipping Coordinator to support our Operations Team in Lavergne, TN. This role ensures the shipping schedule is completed for all daily shipments, both domestic and international, and acts as a backup to the Shipping Lead.

The Operations team at Ingram plays a key role in ensuring our distribution centers and warehouse facilities function at maximum efficiency. Safety is a core value, emphasized through training, education, and accident prevention programs. Process Improvement is also a core value, driven by innovations like voice and Radio Frequency (RF) technologies, and feedback from associates.

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM

What you'll do

  • Ensure the shipping schedule is completed for all daily shipments, both domestic and international.
  • Act as a backup to the Shipping Lead.
  • Possess knowledge of UPS shipping requirements.
  • Demonstrate reading comprehension skills up to a high school level.
  • Exhibit organizational skills.
  • Follow up effectively.
  • Possess writing skills up to a high school level.
  • Utilize basic math skills (arithmetic, addition, subtraction).
  • Have PC skills and DHL Manifest knowledge.

What you'll need

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience with the PKMS system.
  • 1 year of experience with international and domestic shipping requirements.
  • 6 months of work experience that includes walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and typing/keyboarding.
