Director of Publicity General Description of Responsibilities Working under the direction of the Director of Publicity, the Publicity Coordinator provides administrative and project support for publicity efforts surrounding Crossway books and Bibles. This role helps ensure that publicity campaigns are organized, timely, and executed with excellence by coordinating materials, maintaining publicity information and lists, facilitating communication, and assisting with outreach and other publicity needs. Specific Responsibilities Provide administrative support for publicity campaigns across Crossway books and Bibles Assist publicists with the development and execution of publicity plans, including media research, list development, outreach, and follow-up Coordinate the distribution of advance copies, review copies, endorser copies, and other publicity materials Maintain accurate publicity records, media contacts, mailing lists, campaign information, and project tracking Support influencer, reviewer, and media outreach initiatives as needed Participate in publicity team and broader Marketing and Communications department meetings Provide general administrative support to the Publicity team and assist with other publicity projects as assigned by the Director of Publicity and/or the VP of Marketing and Communications Position Requirements The Publicity Coordinator must be highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. They should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to serve authors, media contacts, and colleagues with professionalism and a servant’s heart. Other requirements for this position are as follows: College degree highly preferred Organizational and project-management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Careful attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and administrative details simultaneously Familiarity with publishing, publicity, media relations, or marketing preferred Personal Qualities This person must have a genuine faith in Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior and a love for God’s Word. They must be an active participant in a local church and be committed to an evangelical, historic Reformation understanding of the Bible, the gospel, and Christian doctrine. They must have a pleasing personal demeanor with a servant’s heart. Salary This position offers an annual salary range of $40-45k and is based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships.
