Kendall Hunt Publishing is looking for an enthusiastic college student to fill our K-12 Sales Intern position, with an emphasis on Sales Consultant support. This position will allow you to explore the field of publishing sales while assisting in the development and submission of print and digital educational product proposals.

For the summer of 2027 the focus will be supporting the sales team with administrative tasks, like quotes, customer follow up, and CRM, so a comfort level with Microsoft Office suite is necessary. This internship is an in-person position located in our home office in Dubuque, Iowa; no remote work is currently available.

In A Typical Work Day You Will...

• Generate quotes and enter opportunities in our CRM
• Learn our digital workflow and software
• Attend virtual sales presentations
• Research upcoming State adoption timelines and requirements
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Who You Are...

• You are comfortable with taking direction from multiple sources and managing priorities
• You are proficient or knowledgeable of Internet software and Microsoft Office programs
• You have initiative and consider yourself an independent thinker
• You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• You are detailed, proactive, and hard-working with experience balancing multiple tasks
• You are a great communicator, people person and problem solver
• You are a freshman, sophomore, or junior currently enrolled in a two or four-year college or university
• You are available to work during the summer months
