Role overview

Join our team as a Temporary Financial Analyst and make an immediate impact within a fast-paced manufacturing operation. In this hands-on role, you will support daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and business planning for a facility of approximately 170 employees. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working across teams, and using financial information to support operational decisions.

What you'll do

Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and support business decisions.
Manage accounting activities related to inventory, purchasing, manufacturing costs, and capital spending.
Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve accuracy.
Maintain fixed-asset and capital project records while monitoring spending and project progress.
Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with five or more years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of general accounting, GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and communicate financial information.
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.

Location: Kendallville, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, hybrid
Assignment Length: Approximately 12-16 weeks
