Job Description

Role overview

The Sourcebooks Training & Development team is looking for an organized, people-oriented student to support our learning and HR initiatives. You'll work closely with the Director of Training & Development on projects that help Sourcebooks employees learn, grow, and do their best work -- while also getting exposure to the recruitment and administrative side of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Training & Development on ongoing learning initiatives and projects
  • Support the organization and maintenance of learning content, systems, and documentation
  • Assist with recruitment tasks including interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Provide general administrative support across the HR function

What we're looking for

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in Learning & Development, instructional design, or organizational development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail, especially in content creation and data tracking
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for helping others learn and grow
  • Comfort with tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and learning platforms (or willingness to learn)

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Must be a current college student (sophomore, junior, senior) or recent graduate
  • Able to commit to 21 hours/week for the full program duration (September 14 - November 21, 2026)
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must reside in one of the following states for the duration of the internship: Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.

Program Details

  • Program Dates: September 14 - November 21, 2026
  • Schedule: 21 hours/week throughout the program

Compensation and Benefits

  • Paid, $17/hour
  • $20/hour for interns based in CT, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, or Washington D.C.
