For decades, the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction has stood as a centerpiece of the American literary landscape, honoring excellence in creative writing and celebrating the breadth and power of fiction in America. Today, we are seeking a dynamic leader to steward this legacy and guide a crown jewel of the American literary world into its next chapter .

We are looking for a visionary arts and culture leader who brings equal parts bold strategic vision and ability to execute - an experienced nonprofit manager ready to expand our national impact, lead a remote team, and ensure the foundation’s long-term sustainability.

Location

Hybrid (Greater Washington, DC Metro Area)

Salary Range: $125,000 – $160,000 annually
