Role overview
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Catalog Development Manager to join our team in La Vergne, TN. This role is crucial for enhancing the discoverability, availability, and conversion of Print on Demand (POD) titles within Ingram's wholesale catalog. You will achieve this by developing rule-based automated content detection and decision-making processes for catalog and feed management.
You will identify and implement opportunities to elevate content across various marketing channels, including internal and external book marketing platforms, websites, catalogs, and other merchandising touchpoints. As the Catalog Development Manager, you will collaborate with the catalog team to ensure key, high-potential Print to Order (PTO) titles are fully optimized across all global sales channels through complete, accurate, and enhanced data.
Responsibilities
- Management of the PTO catalog to support discoverability, availability, and enhance sales in the market.
- Seek out and initiate channel engagement for new avenues of book discovery and sales.
- Ensure growth of flagged catalog items and report associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and optimize downstream visibility for curated content flags and promote understanding of their definitions within the marketplace.
- Report to management on progress and development of programs and the impact of catalog curating and enhancement.
- Perform regular internal business reviews for key stakeholders and/or clients.
- Partner with and lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop processes for continuous improvement.
- Own and lead the content curation plan for retail audiences, shaping how key titles are positioned in the marketplace.
- Support multi-channel marketing efforts by organizing and managing assets required to effectively promote catalog content across platforms.
- Conduct research, manage applications, create ongoing reporting, and deliver detailed analysis and actionable insights to inform strategy and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience.
- 1 year of business or data analysis experience.
- 2 years of online merchandising, marketing, or related experience.
- 2 years of experience working with formal Reporting Tools/Platforms (e.g., SQL, Qlik, Excel, QuickBase, Salesforce).
- 1 year of intermediate to advanced experience using Excel for data manipulation, charts/graphs, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP.
- Experience using AI tools (Preferred).
Compensation and Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $65,224 - $82,466. This range is determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and market data.
