Role overview

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in LaVergne, TN, just outside the greater Nashville area. This role participates in the product development life cycle for Oracle Financial and Reporting Applications, including OBIEE, and other related products. You will act as the primary resource for report creation, troubleshooting, and output analysis for internal and external customer use. You will also serve as the point person for problem tickets raised by internal associates for both internal and external customers, working closely with other Ingram Content Group Companies and Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the product development life cycle for Oracle Financial and Reporting Applications, including OBIEE, and other related products.
  • Act as the primary resource for report creation, troubleshooting reports, and report output analysis for internal and external customer use.
  • Act as the point person for problem tickets raised by internal associates for both internal and external customers.
  • Work closely with other Ingram Content Group Companies and Departments.
  • Create detailed technical specifications for bug fixes, application enhancements, and new application features.
  • Participate in the definition of functional requirements via interaction with various areas of the business.
  • Assist in the setup of new representatives.
  • Maintain Ship Methods as defined by the business owner.
  • Assist with the creation and monitoring of health checks on system activity.
  • Act as internal liaison to verify accuracy of deliverables compared to documented requests, best practices, and Quality Assurance.
  • Work with the EOM Team and assist in gathering business requirements from both internal and external customers.
  • Assist the EOM Team in translating business requirements into technical requirements, including scope definition, detail, and process flows.
  • Document functional specifications using a variety of tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and drawings to support findings.
  • Assist with QA by completing test plans for Oracle and LSI application functionality.
  • Work with the project team to perform gap analysis of assigned functional specs and prototypes.
  • Assist in maintaining AutoReports and OBIEE reports.
  • Act as first-level support for Financial System and Reporting problem tickets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computing, Digital Media or related field or directly related year-for-year experience.
  • 1 year of experience working with applications.
  • This position will require 3 days in the office; candidates must be in or willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN region.

Preferences

  • Knowledge of OBIEE Reporting Applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of the organization, operating procedures, and policies of the company.
  • Knowledge of IT development processes.
  • Technical project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hiring Salary Range: $65,224 - $82,466. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
