Role overview
This position is located in the Greater Cleveland, OH Area and operates on a hybrid schedule, with 2 days on campus and 3 days working from home. This opportunity is structured as a temporary internship/fixed-term role with a defined end date. The Audio Production Specialist will be responsible for creating MediaMarkers, processing audio files, maintaining accurate processing records, ensuring documentation is up to date, and addressing reported issues with audio files.
Responsibilities
- Work with suppliers to address questions and/or issues with files, utilizing a support ticket management system to track asset deliveries and requests.
- Data entry of table of contents information (MediaMarkers) into the OverDrive database.
- Identify and escalate issues with supplier content to the Content Metadata Services Team for resolution.
- Process new and revised audio files within team timelines.
- Archive/store and retrieve titles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 0-3 years of related digital media and inventory experience.
- Technical ability.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail oriented with strong spelling, typing, and technical aptitude.
- Ability to work through tasks independently and identify when assistance is needed.
- Professional and solution-oriented in communication with colleagues and suppliers.
